Risk Management Expert for Advisory Projects


About the Role

Our advisory services division has seen substantial growth. As experts in the MSME finance sector, we are experiencing increasing demand for support in the area of risk management and the establishment of fully fledged risk management frameworks and departments in MFIs.
Therefore, we are now seeking experts with experience in risk management in financial institutions to support our team and participate in short-term and long-term advisory service projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • Masters degree in economics, business administration or a finance-related subject
  • Evidence of experience in working as expatriate advisor in financial institutions
  • Evidence of managing, developing and training teams in a developing or transition country
  • Evidence of experience in risk management (credit, liquidity, operational risks) in financial institutions
  • Evidence of developing and setting up risk management frameworks and departments in microfinance institutions
  • Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages: French, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese
  • Willingness to travel and relocate internationally

Additional Assets

  • Management experience in an MFI or bank with MSME Operations
  • Experience in related fields such as credit operations, deposit taking, and payment services
