AccessCampus - the Learning Centre

One of our key philosophies is the strengthening of local staff in the network banks –we strongly believe that our investments are best carried by local staff that has grown with the institution.

Fast internal promotions due to strong growth, lack of educational opportunities in the countries of operation and a generally very young work force call for dedicated  training measures enabling our employees to become more efficient and more confident in the execution of their daily tasks, thereby contributing to a sustainable growth of our network banks.

At the same time high-level training measures are significantly contributing to capacity building of managerial staff in the transition and developing economies we operate in and as such are having a larger impact on the overall economy and development of these countries.

As a consequence, a dedicated Learning Centre called AccessCampus was established at the Berlin Headquarters. AccessCampus focuses especially on the capacity building of local staff in management positions by offering a long-term curriculum consisting of technical and leadership modules taught by in-house executive staff and external experts.

The AccessCampus is kindly supported by the Dutch development bank FMO.
